What Chicó is like
Chicó is the widest neighbourhood in the corridor and the one with the most apartments for sale at any given time. It gathers buildings from every era: seventies towers along Carrera 11, nineties complexes and new projects near Calle 94 and Calle 100.
Parque de la 93, its restaurants and the offices on Calle 100 and Calle 94 mean housing and office life coexist. That gives it liquidity for rentals: it is one of the areas with the highest demand from executive tenants.
Because of its size, price per square metre varies widely within the same neighbourhood: blocks next to the park and towards Carrera Séptima command more; towards Carrera 15 and Calle 100 the supply is wider and cheaper. Comparing micro-location well is what keeps you from overpricing or giving it away.
